David Aronson (1923 - 2015).

Lithuanian-American artist David Aronson, born to an Orthodox Jewish family in Lithuania, explored spiritual imagery with subjective figuration. He studied under Karl Zerbe at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. His work is held in numberous collections, including the Art Institute of Chicago, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
