Harry Spiers, 1869 - 1947
Spiers did several paintings of the Back Bay of Boston and Brookline Gardens and Parks, some of which were marshes such as this one that were revitalized in the 19th century by Frederick Law Olmstead. Reflections is on of the locations repeated by Spiers throughout the different seasons.
