John Edward Costigan, 1888 - 1972

Most likely painted near or on his farm in Orangeburg, New York, "Landscape With Figures", #51, was exhibited at the Art Institue of Chicago in 1923. An exhibition at The National Academy of Design shows a painting with this title winning an award in 1925.
